In preparation for becoming a big brother, Robbie decided we needed a new family vehicle. He insists that it's "mommy's truck" and not a van, but he seems to love it.

We only stayed in Chicago overnight, but on our 2nd day, we visited the Shedd Aquarium.

Independence Day

Robbie, baby Mason and Olivia celebrated with us. Hope this is a sign that Robbie's ready for another baby in the house.

Cake?

After discovering his love of cake, Robbie got a little confused and thought anything with a creamy substance must be icing. This particular night, he insisted that my side of sour cream was, indeed, cake. I gave him a bite, expecting him to be horrified, but instead he dug in and ended up eating almost the entire bowl- plain.

Birthday Cake

Robbie has figured out that birthdays = cake = awesome. This was a birthday party for Robbie's friend Lexi, whom he "met" in the NICU back in the bad ol' days.
