Ear Tubes: The Sequel

Robbie's first set of ear tubes fell out in December. We had hoped that by that point, he would be able to get by without them. Unfortunately, not only did he end up with a couple of ear infections over the next few months, but he also failed his hearing exam a few months after that. At the time of his hearing test, he did have fluid in his ears (but no infection) and the thought was that it was keeping him from being able to hear well. It was also suggested that we could take his adenoid out at the same time, which might help. So we went for our 2nd set of tubes.

Three years old!

Since we celebrated all weekend, Robbie's actual birthday was just a regular day at school. But definitely still fun!

First movie

To celebrate Robbie's birthday we decided to take him to his first movie theatre experience. We went to see Rio. It went really well. Robbie liked it and was very well behaved. He got distracted a few times, but nothing out of the expected for a 3yo at a kid's movie.

3rd Birthday Party

Robbie's 3rd b-day party was held the weekend before his birthday. It was Pirate themed as Robbie was in a HUGE pirate phase.

Grandpa dressed up as a pirate. Robbie couldn't have been more excited. He's been telling everyone that "Grandpa's a pirate" ever since.
